Awesome to hear! I'm not one to crap on anyone's niche. If it works, it works!

Lex's Digital/Physical Product Group Accountability Thread

    EXECUTION
I had a few websites for side hustles and dipping my toes in the water. One I have given up as I was in a way too saturated market. The other one I'm currently using more like a portfolio for knowledge related to my actual profession. Other than that, I honestly haven't done much lately as far a...

I'm a meddler (thanks, ADHD), so I learned this one the hard way.

RE: Workouts Personally, I like sticking to a program for 8 weeks or so and then switching it up. Changing too often can mess with your results (trust me).

Charlie, It's great to see you're looking for ways to move forward. Nothing wrong with testing the waters, but if you see an opportunity, talk your husband. He might just surprise you with his reaction. Not to mention, the conversation will need to happen when it's time to scale up. Blogging...

    Do I need a Lawyer?

    QUESTION
The caveat is also that it depends on the product. If you are getting into a highly regulated space, then it can change things. But even then, I have helped clients find their footing and apply for the proper licensing. But everyone is different.

    Essential lessons for young children...

    HOT! IDEA
Great points. We have friends who are way too open (in my opinion) with their kids about all the troubles in the world. Childhood is a time of learning and bonding. Dumping the weight of the world (or your circumstances) on them is robbing them of some of the magic of childhood.

    Essential lessons for young children...

    HOT! IDEA
    1. How to recognize the difference between big problems and little problems (resilience); 2. How to treat others fairly and what to do if someone is mean to you (boundaries); 3. How to come up with new ideas and test them out (innovation). These are problems younger (and older) kids face every...

Not quite fastlane, but more gas in the tank

    INTRO
Agreed. If it's "so easy, a caveman could do it!" Then it's not going to be sustainable. That is unless you can somehow stand out from the competition and develop a dedicated following, which ain't easy.

Knowledge for Men - Grounded man course

Agreed on most points. TRT can be awesome if you need it, but try fixing sleep, diet, and exercise first. Workout, socialize, learn how to fight, and spend some time outdoors.

I can think of many better ways to spend $6-8k.

    Do I need a Lawyer?

    QUESTION
As an attorney who does consults for companies including distilleries, dock manufacturers, O&G, and more, I generally do not tell my clients to Google the regulations themselves. It's a good idea to be aware of the regulations, but any business attorney worth his salt will also help the client...

Can't take the stress or depression? This might help.

    MINDSET
Read the Stoics, or Gary John Bishop, who captures the Stoic mindset in a 21st-century, foul-mouthed Scotsman's voice.

    Do I need a Lawyer?

    QUESTION
Most business attorneys will do an initial consult for free or low cost. They will give you an idea of the applicable regulations and licenses (if any) needed for your product. They will also discuss setting up an entity, US bank account, etc. If you are going into a highly regulated industry...

Where should my company be assigned to geographically

    QUESTION
That's a complicated question. One I wouldn't trust to a forum (albeit a great one!). There are a couple of issues at play here: 1. Where will the day-to-day management of the company take place? Just having a company that is formed in a low-tax jurisdiction won't automatically make that...
