Hey folks, I'm just getting started with my first LLC, and I'm wondering about operating agreements when it's just me and my wife owning and running any business activities.
The LLC and a DBA are officially filed, and a business checking account just got activated yesterday.
I've been reading about operating agreements since I started working on this. Since it's just my wife and I in the business, it doesn't seem like the operating agreement is a big deal. My state doesn't require one, and I was able to get a checking account at a major bank without one, but I've read elsewhere that without an OA the limited liability of an LLC can be a bit less certain.
So I've researched a few example operating agreements and put one together that I think makes sense.
I wanted to ask everyone here - are there any key features of an operating agreement we should consider knowing that it's just my wife and I in the business? Our business will be food-related to start.
Thanks for any advice!
