let's examine your obstacle for a second ...... is it really laziness? Lack of drive? Lack of motivation? Lack of clear path? Lack of belief? Lack of accountability? Lack of mentor? Is it fear? Fear of failure? Fear of rejection? Fear of disappointing someone?

Don't just chalk it up to 'lazy'. Let's go down a few levels and dig into it......

What is your 'why'? Is it compelling enough?

okay so I haven't joined the call for the past few weeks and now I feel like a moron.

so this week apart from reading random books, I researched how I can export products made in my city internationally, but the challenge for me is the legal procedures, at 16 I can't register a business and get other documents that are strictly required for me to export from India. I've decided to wait till I am 18.

Last week I got an injury while playing basketball on the wrist area of my hand which meant I couldn't move around much. and also couldn't write. (I know it sounds like an excuse) but now it's somewhat better so there's no excuse now.

here are my goals for this week:

I have exams from May 13 so this is what I need to study this week.
- Biology: Life Processes
- Physics: Light & Reflection
- Mathematics: Chapters 2, 3, and 4

- Research on the chrome extension I am going to build

my goals aren't well defined yet, so I will work on that this week too.

I initially wanted to post me doing 100 pushups for being L from past weeks. I tried but couldn't due to the injury. I will do the pushups immediately after I recover from the injury. I really want to apologize though.

Thank you.

All the people who were in the call, can I request you a favor/favour?

Can you please rate my spoken English on a scale of 1 to 10 .. ?

Warmest Regards!
I also think your main struggle is your accent, as you are generally well-versed in both your word choice and grammar.

Perhaps you could see a professional who focuses on the phonetic side of learning a new language. In the meanwhile, you focus on getting exposure to words that may look like they are pronounced similarly.

"Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse." (The Chaos by Gerard Nolst)

One thing that many people overlook is the musicality of language, which can be divided into staccato and legato categories. Staccato languages sound more abrupt and harsh, while legato languages are smoother and more continuous.

I won't go into the specifics, but I wanted to make you aware that learning the pronunciation of a language can be slightly more challenging if your native language falls more on one.

What is your 'why'? Is it compelling enough?
My "why" is to get into a good engineering college and start a profitable business this year. Yes, I think it is compelling enough.

Quick tip for motivation: let any pain be your motivation.

Example from my life: I wanted to buy a top for my girlfriend but I couldn't afford it. I said to myself "may this be my motivation for bringing value into people's life; a.k.a. making money".

Any type of pain can be motivation, so make it so!!! Motivation either in health, finance, relationships, anything you want.

Pain is the most potent fuel.

An exercise:
What happens if you don't do it? (magnify the pain)
What happens if you do it? (increase the pleasure)

Also, 'why' do you want to get into engineering college?
'why' do you want to start a profitable business?
what is the outcome you are after? be VERY specific

Magnifying the pain and increasing the pleasure.... Smart! Very useful.

Next week: -

This week [I'm going to call it a W]

1. Biology: Life processes chapter
2. Mathematics: Chapter 2, and 3. [didn't do 4 as it's not coming in the exams]

3. Physics: Lights and reflections

4. Research on chrome extension:
I figured out some functionalities I could add with a chrome extension in a rather famous site, I checked out if there were extensions already, there were some, but they had bad reviews. There's a high chance people might pay for the functionality.

I will work on this asap my exams are over.

NEXT WEEK:
I have exams the whole week, so sadly this week will be all gone in preparing for the exams.

Thanks.
and have a great weekend!

This was a great week and just like others I am thankful to @Subsonic to take this call every weekend because there I get to meet people hungry for success, trying their arse out .. (except few who need a good kick in the butt) and this call provides me with so much energy listening to experiences of other fellow brothers and sisters .. I am thankful for their infectious energy!

This week I got my sh*t done + I also managed to get to the root of a high selling global niche product, and just had the meeting with one of the limited manufacturers of that product!

I smell blood (money) and I am pumped up!

Edit: I still feel I sux at language and I need to up my game as it will be now a mandate if I need to go global. Time to work hard.

Count me in. I would love to join that group!

"A kick in the bum" can be the difference between being broke and driving a Ferrari!

Edit: You should bear the responsibility of the group! I want to see you hold yourself responsible. I can bet, you have potential.
