I'm not going to university. I'm 20 years old. What can you suggest me to improve myself? I'm very indecisive. In general, I read books and watch unnecessary videos from time to time. The things I am interested in are: sales, software, but I don't know how to evaluate these, I don't go to the gym. How should I spend my day?

If you need someone to tell you how to spend your day, call your parents more, and get a job.

Otherwise, you are 20 years old. It is time to start making decisions like these for yourself.

That's the first improvement I would make if I were you.

Make a significant decision every day. And write it down. Keep them on a list until it's been 30 decisions.
Then reflect on this list and your decisions. Come back to me after 30 days.

A new guy assigning tasks like he owns the place.

@ZCP is this you? @Andy Black @Private Witt let's add this guy to the list of "IP checks".:hilarious:

Thank you for your feedback but I would appreciate it if you were a little more respectful.
Here is my view of things:
This guy had a problem and asked for a suggestion. I offered something.
Can you clarify your problem? My intention was to be motivational because he was indecisive.
About me:
My name HPC is based on 'Hello Play Chess' because I am a chess 'fan'.
I am diagnosed with autism/aspergers and chess was a big interest for me. I have volunteered and had meaningful connections this way, so it has stuck for me.
About you:
You seem to value experience. While I might be new to the forum, I have significant life experience.
Where we don't seem to align is that I try to respect everyone but you seem to be making fun of me because I am new?

I will be glad to see your view of things and listen to your explanation or a suggestion for a different behavior.
If I have misunderstood you, you can simply point me in the right direction.

Watch MJs video here:

And be careful of the learning loop. The 8 min video here might help:

It's a little inside joke. A few weeks ago people wondered who might have multiple accounts in the forum. He's likening your posts to those of moderator @ZCP who has a way of cutting to the chase and kicking people into action. It's a compliment.

Welcome to the forum.

PS: I wish more people asked questions first before firing bullets, so kudos to you.

Thanks a lot for the clarification.
Personally I like to see when people give up self doubt and achieve something, this is why I tried motivational speaking.
I am not sure if I am in the wrong here or if anyone should have done any better.
Maybe after 100 posts I can add a signature to mention that I struggle understanding internet-jokes.

It was hard to understand if you didn't know the history. Like I said, it was an inside joke.

I also like to see when people give up self-doubt and get going.

I think your posts and advice are great. I sometimes think the forum needs a bit more of the straight-to-the-point action-taking advice.

Hi @HPC2079 welcome to the forum.

I think Andy explained everything well. It's an inside joke, and if anyone was "in the wrong" it was me for being hasty in my typing and not thinking through the consequences.

Add to that the fact that I am often misunderstood for my directness, and it wasn't a good "first impression" for myself or your time on the forum.

Hopefully you'll stick around.

And I'll reiterate what Andy said, being comparing favorably to ZCP is intended as a compliment.

I also love chess, my chesscom rapid rating is 2000 glad to meet you

I also wanted to welcome you to the forum as well, It seems we've solved the problem so I'm happy we all helped.

Hopefully you'll stick around too.

LOL, "delete account" as expected when people don't want to hear, what they need to hear.
