Where It Started
I discovered The Millionaire Fastlane in my mid-20s. Driven but distracted. Thought the game was “turn your passion into a business.”
Forum vets warned me: passion isn’t a strategy. I learned that the hard way — like most beginners do.
Now, the focus is simple: build assets that solve real problems — so I can follow my passions without depending on them to pay the bills.
Early Business Lessons
Started flipping items from garage and estate sales. Moved to eBay and Amazon, eventually hitting ~$30K/month in revenue.
But it was all volume, no leverage. No control. No barrier to entry. Margins were razor thin. It broke the C.E.N.T.S. model. I shut it down.
Still — I came away with real skills: sourcing, fulfillment, operations, and systems thinking. Best part? It brought my wife into the world of entrepreneurship.
What I’m Building
I’m building a niche directory to solve a high-intent discovery problem in luxury travel.
Progress so far:
Secured high-value, category-defining domains that capture type-in traffic people are already searching.
Building solo. (Probably should’ve hired a dev)— but wanted to learn the stack and stay lean.
MVP nearly done — launching in the next few weeks.
To drive traffic, I’m launching The Luxury Dispatch — handpicked luxury trips from your well-traveled friend.
It’s a curated newsletter that:
What I’m Looking For
Looking to connect with builders who’ve scaled directories or newsletter-first businesses. If you’ve cracked the code, I’d love to swap insights.
I’ve shed the old and now want to build with people playing the long game. Whether that leads to collaboration or just sharper thinking — I’m open to making this path less lonely.
How I Can Help (if you’re building too)
If you’re stuck refining an idea, system, or offer — I can probably save you some time.
Appreciate MJ and this community. Excited to contribute and learn along the way.

If you’re stuck refining an idea, system, or offer — I can probably save you some time.
- Branding & Naming — I’ve helped shape and clarify positioning across a handful of projects
- Systems & Ops — Built backend workflows to streamline fulfillment and reduce overhead
- Audio/Tech — 10+ years in sound engineering and content production — if it plugs in, I can probably troubleshoot it
