Clearly your experience with Forest Shipping was better than a very angry customer who posted his highly negative review here:
Forest Shipping China Review - Is Forest Shipping Scam? Scroll down to also see a link that shows what he describes as the hilarious replies to the importer's emails.
I found their listing on made-in-china and found the English poor but no worse than many. It appears that they have only 5 employees.
Regarding them negotiating with the factory, half the population of China (slight exaggeration, ) are offering to do that for a fee, but as I have written in several posts in my AMA how do you know they truly have your interests at heart? Are they getting a commission from the supplier? Is the supplier really the best one for you? Is the supplier a friend or relative? Are they actually buying the product and reselling it to you under a different business name?
If you need help in sourcing and shipping small or large quantities, I would be happy to supply you with contact details for two US owned businesses about whom I have received numerous good reports. They have US expats working in China and employ experienced locals. They can ship to almost any country.
See my post: GOLD - Sharing my lifetime experience in export/import. Product sourcing specialist. where I have warned about using Chinese based freight forwarders.
