Hi people,
I'm a 29 year old living in the south of the UK.
I've just finished the Millionaire Fastline, and thought I'd give this forum a go.
Currently I have trod the path of the typical slowlane life in the UK.. Went to college, got an apprenticeship, now I have a good paying job, with a lot of responsibility at a decent company. The typical career path currently for me looks good. This had given me the chance to get on the property ladder etc which I am grateful for but I find myself daily wanting more. I find little joy or satisfaction in my job and find it extremely mundane. Obviously you can see why this book struck a cord with me. I have an extreme want for more from my life.
Without sounding big headed, throughout life, once I've set my sights on something I do usually succeed in that field.
I definitely want to look at alternative income streams to work along side my current job, but am struggling for an idea. The goal would be to start a business or two alongside my job now over the next 5-10 years build them up into a position I don't have to work such a stressful/ long day making someone else rich!
I have two questions that I would ask the forum that could help me as a starting point..
1. Is there any people in this forum who have been in a similar sort of position to me in the UK? who could potentially give me advice?
2. Is there any entrepreneurial groups or seminars anyone could recommend in the UK?
