I'm an engineer who escaped The Treadmill ten years ago, even I thought then that I just moved to another country to look for work.
When the HR/headhunter people say I'm no longer treadmill-worthy, they cannot see the number of immediately extractable currency units on my forehead. Even if I have studied a number of courses and kept my skills alive.
I must disagree with them, but on the other hand, I'm done with the treadmill. I sympathized "Falling down" the movie, but that's not my story.
I will look for another way to contribute to the world, let it be Fastlane, as my current paragliding life isn't what I'd like to do.
I can build anything, but the problem is WHAT would be of value... and scale?
Particularly, I'm an electronics engineer with software development and project management work history. In the future I will be a corporation. :-D
50x means fifty-something, and I'd like to 50x my cash.
