I first learned HTML in '95. Made money by promoting eBay's affiliate program in '97. Made money with Google Adsense and Amazon when they first launched. I did a lot of subcontract/freelance and burned myself out. Started working on my own web businesses and have lost my a$$ several times. Each time I pull myself up from the hole I have dug and proceed to learn more, to drive harder and smarter, and to keep pushing. This tenacious, unrelentless energy has put me on a path that few in my family have traversed. I have lost family, friends, biz partners, ruined relationships but I haven't lost touch with who and what I am – an entrepreneur who chooses not to conform to the traditional 9 to 5 working my a$$ off for 50 years making other people rich while I get to take a two week vacation. It's about freedom to me, it's about empowerment, it's about providing solution oriented value to the world. These things I know because I learned them the hard way through trial and error painful experiences and have lost almost all my hair in the process. For some reason I keep falling straight on my face. The good news is each venture gets better. I get closer and closer to hitting that grandslam win, that opportunity that makes it all worth it. My struggles and my learning have been so intense suicide has been a plausible outlet. If it weren't for my wife who loves me unconditionally, who shows me what it means to keep going, I would be sitting in a cubicle right now regretting my path. I have been a free thinker, outspoken, rebel since I was a kid. Someone who beats to his own drum. Learning, deploying, watching, acting on, enhancing, and improving my entrepreneurial spirit has been one of the most challenging but rewarding adventures I have ever experienced. More than being incarcerated. More than almost losing my house in foreclosure. More than recovering from drug addiction. More than going into serious debt. More than anything else. It has been my path of empowered Enlightenment. And I am forever grateful to have this awareness. But now is the time to ACT on this knowledge and create my forward direction!
