I've spent the last 14 years helping developers create good, usable products. Although it's been fulfilling and I've been paid very well, I find myself wondering if "this is it?". I was lucky enough to have great parents who taught me financial literacy. I've done EVERYTHING right since I started building credit and saving money at 18, but I'm 34 now and I feel like I could have done better than my mutual funds and 401k.
My background is in art and design, I graduated from a 4-year technical Art University in 2011. I know everything there is to know about branding and image. I can tell you what carpet will go with your drapes. My focus now is to build something that makes people feel good while also filling a need.
