Big gearhead, started out with an apprenticeship at a local car dealer at 16, next came oil changes.. All the way to heavy engine repair like timing belt services. I studied solo and was able to get my Master Mechanic Certificates all by myself! And landed a great mechanic job at a new shop, this was all before I was 20. Got bored working on cars once the challenge was over, and it was back-breaking work too! So I mistakenly looked upward and went to college for Mechanical Engineering. Luckily I only wasted 5 years of my life and made it out with an Associate (I was working full-time, as a Product engineer).. Did that 6 years in all, and learned a TON about product design, the manufacturing process, and how stuff is made. I realized I have no control over my income, and the salary is not life-changing. That's why I'm here to learn!!!
