Fibonachos
Design engineer who took the slow lane route.
I have worked on a number of high profile design projects including the modernisation of a local landmark and the re-design of a crop sprayer that is now in production.
My design project for my university dissertation won the UK Institue of Engineering (IagrE) National Prize for 2013 so I do have the opportunity to do what I love.
I know MJ says you won't make any money doing what you love but winning that prize and having 2 of my designs in production for the companies I worked for has confirmed to me that I can.
Unfortunately my day job is managing the maintenance department for a large multi-national; so I'm working on my own design (currently in the second prototype stage) to solve the problem of discomfort during long haul flights.
