I've had quite the varied career. Went to school for mechanical engineering, then worked four years in the nuclear power industry as a structural engineer. Have played with writing software for many years as a hobby, so I jumped ship and found a new job writing software with ruby and javascript. Now I work from home full-time and write software for a company that makes corporate training tools.
