Honestly? I want to break the trend in my family. Everyone's been pushing me to go to college and get a good job, but I just don't see myself doing that! I would like to experience college (for the experience), but I don't have the money for that at the moment and taking out a loan for something that I'm not sure will help me attain my goals (I know people who graduated and are struggling to pay off their loans and are working as bartenders). On top of that, I have a lot of creative outlets that I want to pursue, but I don't want to have to do those things in order to have money. I want to animate, I want to creatively story-write, I want to learn Japanese, I want to create soundtracks and songs, and I simply can't balance a 9-5 with those things. I want to travel the world! And I want to accumulate the wealth to do these things while I'm in my prime. I'm only 20 years old, if I can do this right, before I hit 30, I'll have the financial freedom to really explore my interests even more!
