How should my daughter sell 100 chocolate bars?

    HOT!
Love this. Had an experience selling popcorn with my son for Cub Scouts. One of the dads was a super sales manager. He told the boys to say something similar, “Would you like to support our Troop...” and the person said yes more times than not, instead of selling the popcorn they asked for a...

An author's journey from addiction to domination

    MINDSET
Can't provide a link (just following anonymity examples of others around here), but yes, I have done all distribution myself. Hope that helps!

I read A LOT and kept honing my craft by writing. Like anything it took a lot of practice. Hope that helps!

Thanks :) The only time I go over a 2-3 hours is if I've set a deadline. What everyone else said is right on about going over that time, at least in my experience. I have a couple friends who are machines and have the ability to churn out 10k plus days, but they are the exception.

Do writing sprints. Start with 5 minutes then take a 2-minute break. Then do another. Type without stopping and see how much you get during each sprint. Do that for a half hour total and work your way up to an hour of sprints/breaks. From there move up to 10 minute sprints with a 3-minute...

What Are Your Big Plans For 2018?

    HOT!
It's that time again. Finalizing plans for 2018. In the spirit of sharing (and to get my a$$ in gear), here are my current plans for the new year: FICTION: Fiction writing is my main income source. I will continue to produce 4-6 novels in 2018, along with attempting to get a traditional deal...

What is the BEST "value" you ever paid for?

    NOTABLE! HOT! CHAT EXECUTION
Are you still loving Evernote? I used it when it was brand new years ago. Almost went back a year or so ago but heard they'd made a lot of upgrades that screwed with performance. Thoughts?

How I created my 6-fig business and work less than 3 hours a week (Step by Step Tutorial)

    HOT!
Would love to see some numbers to go along with this, like how many sales each book is nabbing from launch to six months in. Also, like others have wondered about, I'm curious about quality control. If you're contracting the writing out, how is your stamp of approval getting on the final...

When I first started I was clueless. Over time I figured out that finding the right genre and subgenre could help. It's not nearly as important with fiction, but still helps. Definitely important for writers looking to jump in. Chris Fox wrote a good book, WRITE TO MARKET...
