I grew up in an entrepreneurial family but my parents were more of a Mom and Pop shop than they were "Fast Laners". I always felt we could do more and be more aggressive with the business. Their business slowly trickled off to nothingness as they neared retirement and they were lucky to be able to actually sell it to someone. Watching that happen was rather difficult but it impressed on me that if your business isn't growing, you might as well be shrinking. So I end up putting a lot of pressure on myself to try and ensure our business grows some each year.
Currently - I own and operate several websites. The most successful of which are marketplaces for used & new industrial equipment. The items we sell are used in warehouses, transporation, factories, and foundaries. I know this business because I'm an Industrial Engineer by trade and I worked for several years in a manufacturing environment.
