IDEA How to throttle "idea creep"?

Thanks @AceVentures. Great advice for a well thought out logical path. Regarding the market, I searched the same thing with the same Forbes article result. I was looking for more detailed data, but maybe I'm just making the process harder than what it needs to be.

IDEA How to throttle "idea creep"?

I've come with an idea centered around surviving the weekend of youth sports tournaments, but I'm having trouble focusing on one place to start. The first product idea was essential gear for the family. Then quickly my mind raced to the idea of an ebook/digital products. Next it was snack...

HOT! The lifestyle, hobbies, and fun thread.

Keep it up! When I was 26, I could barely run a quarter mile. At 29, I ran my first marathon in Dallas. I'm 44 now and I've run three more since then with a PR at 36 yo. Training can be brutal, but finishing a marathon is the best feeling in the world.

    INTRO Never too late...

I'm in my mid 40's with a wonderful wife and three children. But the slowlane engineering job sucks. I want a change that doesn't involve working towards someone else's vision. I want to realize my own and enjoy life on the journey.
