My company has been doing pretty well, nobody demands me to do anything and I work in a role that suits my skills. Me and my business partners are on track to make high six figures each.
A reputable guy came to my firm with an idea he wanted us to run, but it needed a lot of cash - more than we have.
So I knew this wealthy individual was in finance and controls a fund in our industry, I took it to him, and long story short he's very interested and it looks just rosy!
Now he's come to me with an offer of introducing an investor to a Goldmine (literal sense), and in return giving me a $1M reward for the introduction!
He's a nice person, working with top professionals in the field, and he has a reputation for being good to work with - so I'd like to put in some time finding investors (I already am).
Anyone have experience on this sort of thing, how to build a network quickly, or etiquette in approaching family offices, pension funds, HNWs? Or even which of these tend to invest in 'funds'?
Anyone done anything similar with success, or lessons learned?
