After joining this forum and reading through it a bit, it seemed clear to me that lurking is discouraged. So, here I go:
My name is Matt and I decided to join this forum after reading The Millionaire Fastlane and The Great Race Race Escape. My current goal is learning how to code in HTML, CSS and JavaScript in order to build and launch a competitor site to Armslist.com. My reason for doing so is because Armslist is the industry leader in gun classifieds, and their website is pay-to-play, lacking in features, and riddled with low-quality "singles in your area" type ads even after paying their $8 monthly subscription. As a user, I find their service to be lackluster at best and sincerely believe there is opportunity in such a project. I am still in the beginner stages of learning to code, but I am making progress every day and feel as if I'm working towards a meaningful goal, something I've never before experienced. I hope that I can contribute more to the forum over time as I learn from my successes and failures in this project
