Hey guys and nice to meet you!
My name is Fotis (means light in Greek), and as you probably understood, I am from Greece.
I am a trainer in a box gym, 25 years old, have a blog where I write about fitness, and I was brought here after reading THE book ( actually I have some pages left, but I wanted to join). The need of a place where I can speak and share my thoughts or even advice some people is really compelling, since I do not have something like that here.
My WHY'S, as they are referred to in the book, are the following
I want my mother to have a great time while she gets older. Currently she is working full time with the money being that of a part time job and I do not want that for her.
I want to be able to spend quality time with my girlfriend.
Last but not least, I do not want to worry about a job from my 30's and later
I have not worked out a long term plan (long term being 3+ years), but my ideas for the time being are
1) Getting popular on youtube and perhaps getting a partnership. There is NO ONE in Greece putting quality, scientific, entertaining videos about Fitness so I plan to do it. Dunno if I can hope for a partnership, but it seems easier to affect more people
2) Create a product. I am trieing to identify a need, and I think there are a lot of joint problems out there, so I might create a video product (a book woult take TOO much time) where I give an introduction, a little bit of science, home ideas, gym ideas and a conclusion.
