Ten times a week there are threads started about people wanting to start a website, and then they proceed to list their excuses and perceived limitations.
Rarely if ever does anything materialize and it turns into a 'woe's me' type of rant which usually ends in the person never logging back onto the forum.
Now, I have no money (all tied up in inventory), I have no idea how to build a website, I've never built anything other than putting up a wordpress blog (which I ended up messing up the code for and was forced to shut down), I have no credit card (to pay for hosting, etc), I have no idea how to do SEO and all that other crap, I have no idea how to set up a proper business (that charges and pays taxes, etc), I've never shipped anything in my entire life, I have no packing materials, and no money to pay for them.
I THINK I COVERED EVERY POSSIBLE EXCUSE AMIRIGHT???
The difference is, these are not roadblocks/obstacles, and this is not rocket science. Rather than trying to get spoonfed information like most people mistakenly do, I'm mostly going to figure this out on my own. (with odd exceptions)
Problem one. Finding something to sell.
Every time, this is one of the first problems people complain about. What the heck is the point of opening a store if you have no idea what you want to sell?
So this morning I purchased two dozen pairs of brand new Mary Janes (note: these are childrens shoes, and have nothing to do with marijuana lol), for way below wholesale.
I paid ~$5/pair and they sell for ~$30-$32/pair. This is a good start. 20 pairs of shoes are going to be PURE PROFIT. (The other 4 pairs will cover my entire initial investment.
I'm basically starting this thread out of frustration with the lack of ambition and initiative taken and shown by most new members. WANTING to achieve something is never going to happen, if you expect everything to be handed to you.
This thread also ties into my other Hustler thread (I'm thinking the magazine needs to sponsor me? haha!) in which I chronicle my progress from $0 to $10,000 in 6 months. (so profits from this store count towards the $10K.
To getting off your rear, and making things happen, like any good hustler. :urock2:
