Hello all the way from South Africa.
My name is Lindo and I'm 18 years old. Completed highschool last year and this year I've been preparing to serve a two year mission with the The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Not to sound like an ignorant or narrow-minded kid but I Want To Better Africa! (i see a lot of opportunity).
So a few years back, before being exposed to TMF I had begun formulating my Fastlane business. Which is to produce electricity for not just my country but for the whole continent! There's a lot of poor service delivery in this aspect and also I think we need to completely shift focus on how we generate electricity as humans and for me that's where the current conflict is at. I've thought to myself that (quite a bit in the last few days) that in order to better serve the people of this country and continent in terms of energy production I need to know exactly how it's done so I can then figure out how I'm going to make it better (because I think it can be made better).
At first when I noticed Mr DeMarco share passages from the forum I thought to myself "well good for them but I don't think I need to use it" but after seeing just what a profound impact it has on all the members I later thought "let's jump on it!"
So I'm here on the forum to really get advice from all of you that can better advise me on how do I get this awesome journey properly planned out and executed("execution is king") while learning from all of you! (At this meagre age I don't think I can in anyway help anyone)
So that's my intro.
