Sup.
I've long thought about this post, but I want to point a pretty hard and definitely fast rule for anyone starting:
If you have no income, built no businesses, trying to start a Fastlane business from the nothing is near-impossible (impossible in a bad way)
GASP! What? But what about the invention that...
Yes invention. So do you have funds to build it?
The problem which I refused to believe as @MJ DeMarco has pointed out that most people will refuse to climb the "from flat broke to filthy rich" ladder first.
What avaits you?
I've recently started cleaning windows (1.2k revenue for 8 days so far), and well...
You think you know people... But you don't. Until you make 10 sales, you really don't.
And that is the greatest acquisition of all, probably.
You will also learn skills like selling, how to dress, how to price, etc, etc ...
Because guess what, it's easier to change while you are washing windows/moving lawns/etc than it is when you have an invention worth 900$, which noone buys!
Morale of the story: until you have income, generated 10-20 sales, building a high-entry business is better be no-go.

Now you are going to start and execute what's in this video by MJ.
Good luck!
