A proper introduction

Hello,
I have been reading some threads in the forum from time to time, but didn't ever take the time to properly introduce myself, so I would like to do it in this thread, along with some thoughts and my goals. I was into doing stuff, so l haven't posted anything for a long time. I hope this in the right category...

I live in Greece and I finished university in September of 2012, after 5 years since l got in it. The department l attended was about mathematics and statistics. Really useless stuff, since we never learned how to apply some tactics and methods in our own company if we wanted to do so.

I started educating myself (regarding wealth) l think about 1 year ago, but my real education came as soon as l finished university (education starts at graduation as MJ said). In particular only after l read MJ's book really got a pretty good grasp of it! It is an amazing compass and I must thank him for writing it.

So, what am l doing since September? I started educating myself about internet marketing and l decided this to become my area of expertise. We launched a website with my partner in our native language to test the waters around October. Its monetization is Adsense, but although we now have some decent traffic and an ok ctr, the cpc is really low, so we are making few money from it, maybe not even wroth mentioning.

We are now mainly working on 2 other websites, an educational one and a small ecommerce, hybrid of affiliate/dropship. The educational one is aimed at USA, it provides value and it is still under development. It has some traffic and earnings already, but we haven't completed it yet. Its monetization is adsense at the moment, but we intend to provide lead generation too.
The mini-ecommerce provides a medical tool, which is great value for money, but our conversion is low. We had only 2 sales till now and it is up the past 2 months or so. It still needs work, but I am happy we are on to something!

Neither is Fastlane, because they both lack in Scale. They can become a money tree though providing some cashflow.

What is most amazing to me is that around July-August of 2012 someone told me the word "SEO" and I hadn't a frikkin clue about internet businesses, whereas now, after only 9 months l have a pretty good understanding and whats more l am already making some money! I am really happy about that. This probably sounds like nothing to most of the members in here, but for start I am really excited!

I don't know yet if I want to go for multiple income streams or build something big and then liquidate it. To be honest l never intended to become a millionaire or something, but then I saw a product in a TV show and I really want to do something with it. I have only thought it, but not yet acted on it, because l first want to establish these 2 websites and then move on. Chances are that this product might have a good chance in Northern Europe (not in Greece), so l will probably go and chase it when l am done with these websites. Sounds a bit crazy

It is interested how things are going here in Greece and the effects recession has on the slowlane. I might post a thread of what I have seen if this is of interest.

Last but not least, I would like to thank endlessly both MJ for writing this awesome book and for the members of this forum for providing all this invaluable input, feedback, advices and encouragement.
