Good evening everyone, I'm based in the Uk, so yeah

Just wanted to say hello, introduce myself here and hope to chat with you very soon about some interesting stuff...

A quick story about me - I've been making electronic music for six years, recently landing my first legitimate record deal early this year after putting in more hours to hone my craft. I love music. I also run "club nights" here in the UK, something that unfortunately is now on hold due to no clubs being open. I came across @MJ DeMarco 's books when I followed a YouTuber called James Jani. I was totally bought into the whole self help industry for around four years, unfortunately more on the fake, toxic side of things, I eventually ended up thinking I was successful and everything, even although nothing had changed... Weird, right? I also used to job hop so much because I was always told from these "gurus" to diss the 9-5 life. Now, I am sat here ready to experience the realities of life once again, ready to stop feeding my brain so much instant gratification. To be honest, this has been one of the toughest times of my life so far, imagine living your life for the last four years following these gurus on mindset, only to be stuck in exactly the same place as before. Of course, I take a lot of responsibility for this, but it's no secret how cunning some of these scammers can be. It got to the point where I was losing my passion for music and I ended up with no money after following these guys.

Anyways! I'm 24 and got the world ahead of me, so here I am starting fresh, trying to think more critically for myself, and hopefully this forum is a step in the right direction to being back in reality once again for the first time in years, not up in the clouds with these so-called "gurus".
