I just turned 29 and for my birthday my parents bought me a Kindle. As I was browsing Amazon for books (always computer and business books) I stumbled upon The Millionaire Fastlane and decided to pick it up. I just finished reading it about a hour ago and thought I would sign up for the forum here.
A little about me. I've always been a dreamer and I do admit that I am(was) a sidewalker. My parents, and therefore me, have always been the type of people who live for today and not for tomorrow. We play(ed) the lottery weekly in hopes of one day hitting it and never having to work again. While on this path though I've always dreamed about owning my own business and relying on myself instead of others to make money.
I believe I am finally ready to start on the Fastlane. My biggest desire is to have time to do what ever I want. I've always wanted to be able wake and fly somewhere the same day if that is what I felt like. While I do want a nice house and car, I really want to spend time with my 10 year old son doing whatever we want to do. So today I start while still in my 20s.
