So I've been building up another income stream over the past month.
It is essentially selling a "Business in a Box"/Turn-Key business type package.
I've flown through getting everything set up and getting all the legwork done. That is no problem.
I have the physical product creation process streamlined, all the marketing materials done, and packaged up all the information needed to get started. Literally everything is taken care of (yes, I'm sure. please don't ask questions regarding this )
So this is where everything has come to a grinding halt.
I'm at the point where I am going to drive leads to a sales call. I have experience in landing page optimization, optimizing ad CTR, etc. The leads are searching specifically for this product, so thats good.
But I don't have any experience doing sales calls. (And to be honest, I find no enjoyment in it and would rather not do it if possible.)
This part has been subconsciously holding me back for a couple weeks now. Everything else is all green lights.
I suppose not even having a blueprint on the sales process could be a problem. I'm not sure where to go with the call. I do know that other competitors have said it takes about 30 days from initial call to closing the sale. The product is in the $10k range, so its not an impulse buy and a bit of trust needs to be built.
Also, I have some available time to field the calls, but I don't essentially want to be "on call" 24/7 for this biz. Maybe I could leave a voicemail for my "off hours"? Though I don't wanna lose leads because of that...
Anyways, what are your thoughts? Should I hire someone for this? If so, how would you structure it? I really don't wanna give up equity. Commission sounds like the best route, but I'm not sure what would be worth their while...
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
