Some weeks ago I was on vacation with my family in danmark. We had a little house near the beach. Beach, Water and summer are a perfect combination for a vacation with a 2,5 year old boy. We digged a lot in the dirt.
We had a house far away from any internet access. So I was really surprised to gain some insights about needs, markets and problems.
The day before we arrived was a heavy storm, so on the beach was a small lake left with water that couldn't get into the sea. And there was a small river coming out of the dunes.
Naturally (when you are on the beach with a small boy and you have time and two shovels), you start digging holes. So I connected the small lake to the small river. It took only a few minutes since there were only a few meters to dig.
Once I connected the waters, things got interesting. My channel was only 20 centimeters wide. But within half an hour it became a 4 meter wide river, emptying the whole "lake"...
So I learned that this was a major need. It took me only a very small effort, but the results were impressive. So when I look for my next business idea, I will always remember this day at the beach.
