Hey guys

Need some advice for the old man.

My step dad has been attempting the fastlane, for almost 12 years now and i think he has tried everything, with little or no success.

His story is that he grew up in a pure poverty in a third world counrty, in the "ghetto". he was smart at school and managed to get a scholarship to a private high school, he then in his last year had another scholarship to come to the UK, this is where he met my mum. My mum was 30 with 3 kids (ME) and he was 19- talk about toy boy i know...dont rip. Anyway i quess he saw more potential in staying here than going home, so they got married.

His ideas have been really good they range from;

(In order)
-Nightclubs

-We once lived in a massive mansion/castle he wanted to turn it into an exclusive hotel he had people from armani and ralph lauren who were interested. , But it fell through i think he must have been around 22. My mum sold her house to rent the mansion, she also had money from suing her uni for F*cking up her law exam. Failed coz armani/lauren didnt see the potential

-Moved back to the city he spent many years teaching my sister golf, who had serious potential as being pro, i quess he saw her as his ticket too success (golf pays very well). She ended up giving up "his" vision and went to follow her other passion (dance pays very bad) but i respect her decision.

- Decided to create a theatre play had mediocre success, potential buyers and tour but also fell through..they didnt buy, he couldnt fund more shows..

- To Set up a bio-diesel plant where there was not one in his home counrty, this was my faviroute, I also invested alot, he had the company who produces the machinery BDI agree to deal with him, also the government had a requirement for a certain amount of biodiesel and was going to fund the project as it benefited the country. Failed there was a corruption scandal in the department he dealt with and was going to be a while till they gave the green light, while he had no money to survive there.

- Fuel depo for taxis in home country, he wanted taxi drivers to use special fuel depos to refuel and not use the local retail one. The taxi company was on boared, petrol station engen on bored as it would be a regular mass market client for them. Failed would take years before gouvernment could change red tape, couldnt afford to wait, literally.

- A musical, again, no funding

- Went to law school where he was doing well but realised that it would take hime 10/15 years untill he could start getting good money, which he still believed was not enough, hes about 35 at this point.

-Now 38 he is trying brokering deals, things like bank gurantees and stuff i dont know about, seems complex, basically gets a cut for a deal, middle man.

Our family has been pretty broke by uk standards for a while now, his bizness has taking him to egypt, hong kong, austria where ever he sees opportunity, he cleans dishes atm to provide for us which is quite embarrasing, he is still trying and i have always respected that, he wants to provide for us with everything and more.

He has told me that it is mindset and he will never give in, he always reffers to where he came from most people look around themselves in the ghetto and say im F*cked, but he said no i cannot accept this! he does inspire me and i want to follow in the entreprnurial/fastlane route and want to be different, add value to the world.

Just wondering what you guys thought about this? any advice for him?

My plan is to get into learn the ins and outs of the online market, and create a company that has a huge difference to people and the world. My aim is to be a multi-millioanire by 35 im 21 now. They saw every1 has a number mine is 5hundred mill.

Fastlanes...main pull for me is controlling my life....as william wallace says "Freedom"...not answering to some prick, making him or my gouverment rich...

Thanks
