I'm about to build a web business.
Now the issue is, I'm a systems/network engineer by profession. I don't know any htm/css/php/perl/ruby etc. The only sites I have built were wordpress based.
I have some capital set aside to to have someone build my website. I'm willing to throw 10-15k at the project. If you were in my situation, would you learn web programming and do the site yourself or hire someone else to do it? I'm a fast learner when my mind is set to something but I know it will take me much longer for my baby to come alive if I have to do it myself but at the same time I hate having to rely on someone else for my website in the early process.
What would you do?
