Hi all,
I am currently working as a contractor for a company and invoicing them through my own company. The client is asking me for recommendations on someone that can consult for them on a particular project and I think I have an external group of people that can deliver the services.
If I get to sell them on these external service provider, I would probably consider asking them (the provider) for a finders fee since I am the one bringing them onboard.
Question: What's the proper (i.e. ethical) way to frame this with both parties?
I'm not sure how to navigate this so any pointers are appreciated.
