After closing my first mid-5 deal, I have just one question.

So, after f*cking with my bank for 5 days, I finally received my money.
First they didn't have enough cash, then they wanted me to do a formal request and wait for 3 days until they process it and let me withdraw money. And now I have just one question:

Why does it have to be hard?

I still remember how I made my first decent cash and today it seems almost laughable (I still treat any amount of money with respect), and I'm sure that in a year from now receiving this kind of payments for even less work will be nothing special, but why does it have to be a year from now?
What is the difference between me today and me 1 year later?

Those who already make 6 figures per deal - what would be your advice to yourself from the past?
What allowed you to really step up?
