Amazon Buy Box Percentage - What Happened?

I have searched online and on the forum and could not find an answer to this. I was hoping someone could maybe help?

I have my own e-commerce site and also started selling my products on Amazon about a year ago. I am the only seller of my products on Amazon. After a few weeks of getting started I was consistently receiving the buy box anywhere from 97% to 100% every day. About two weeks ago my buy box percentage dropped to anywhere from 0% to 2% every day. It has remained there since and my sales have slowed.

I am puzzled because nothing has changed. My metrics are great, reviews are great, account health is perfect, etc. I contacted Amazon and spoke to a rep. He looked up my account and said he had no idea why it had dropped, everything looked good. He said he would forward it to a supervisor and get back to me.

Well, I received a generic email response from Amazon today just talking about what affects your buy box percentage, etc. Nothing specific to my situation.

Anyone experience this before?
