My husband and I have recently started selling some items on Ebay, about three weeks ago we sent our first shipment into Amazon UK FBA.
This is a new niche and nothing to do with my regular business, which is publishing.
It was only a small shipment as I wanted to test the channel and get the hang of Amazons processes.
After a week we had sold 1 item and then 2 days later we sold another item. Then nothing!
I got really disheartened and had a conversation with my husband last night that maybe these products aren't suited to FBA or maybe we need to look at pricing.
Then, today we sell 5 items - I am REALLY happy!
I want to understand WHY we have got those orders today. Is it just down to Amazons algorithm? Have we received positive feedback or did our competitors sell out? Or maybe just a popular day for this item?
I am off to investigate but in the meantime I just wanted to share how happy I am.
