Hey everyone,
It's nice to finally be here and it's nice to meet you all.
Having read both the millionaire fastlane and UNSCRIPTED 2-3 times each and having spent hour after hour reading posts here on the forum, I decided it was time to step out of the shadows and into the light.
I'm a guy approaching my 30'ies, working a full time job and dreaming of freedom and more control. I want to be behind that steering wheel, not just a passenger.
I'm a software developer with a focus on cyber security. I enjoy creating software and securing companies and people alike. I like building complex systems where the focus is automation.
I'm usually quite introverted, but I'm trying to change that, or at least, not let that stop me from meeting new people and creating meaningful connections, which is partly why I'm here.
I know a good deal of python, general scripting, systems and server administration, software architectures, security testing, cloud, OpenAI and more. There's also a million things I do not know, but that's what makes life fun. I have a small background in business as well. I mention this in case any of you need some sparring or help with those subjects, no more team consumer only, let me know if I can help you out!
I have previously created some side-hustle like ideas, such as:
I have found enjoyment in the process itself, thanks to a changed belief system, a strong foundational "WHY" and more. I know exactly why I am doing what I'm doing.
To avoid a wall of text I'll end the introduction here.
Free value for you: Did you know that various security based solutions might have scanned your servers and organized it for others to see? Check out your domain or IP at for instance shodan.io and validate if there's something open that isn't supposed to be open, or perhaps outdated.
Free value for you: While python may be helping you to quickly code prototypes, it's important to keep your code organized when it is growing larger. Dividing logic up into functions or modules may save you a lot of time down the line when things get more complex. If you enjoy microservices, look into packages such as pika which is an implementation of a message queue protocol. In this way, you can even abstract logic into docker containers and send messages back and fourth using pika, thus, creating larger modules that can work independently of each other.
Have a great day and an awesome 2025!

I have previously created some side-hustle like ideas, such as:
- A grade calculator (No value based success, but I learned a lot.)
- A blog (No financial success, but it was helpful for people)
- Webshop overview site (Would not call that side hustle anymore) with scraped data from multiple sources combined with AI. Everything is automated. Income from affiliate payments (Sorry M.J!) - Made +19K USD in profit within a year. And yes, M.J. is right, affiliate based businesses are risky and lack many of the CENTS principles, even if you spend a lot of time trying to mitigate flaws.
I have found enjoyment in the process itself, thanks to a changed belief system, a strong foundational "WHY" and more. I know exactly why I am doing what I'm doing.
