A lot of wantrepreneur-ing lays in not knowing if a business has potential for making millions a year. In thinking about that it occurred to me that I know very little about what some businesses revenue looks like. I thought we could all give examples of size of business, industry, number of employees and revenue from our experience.
So to start:
family restaurants make 1.5-2 million per year, 30% (roughly) to owner, 25-50 employees (a couple full time, many part time)
Most single crew trade companies do about $300k a year with $70-90k going to the owner.
