Hi all! I'm Gal (short for Galahad).
I've been many things over the years, market trader, theatre technician, ESOL teacher, programmer... but I've always been a biker first and foremost. I've had various side hustles over the years but they've never really taken off. After reading TMF multiple times, as well as Unscripted and TGRRE , I can see exactly why - they were money-chasing not value-providing and they all failed the CENTS test.
I have two fantastic kids and a wife I adore, and I'm hitting the fast lane so they can have something I never had - security. While it makes some things more difficult, I think having the extra challenge is actually a net benefit as it forces you to think more out of the box and focus more precisely on what you are doing.
I look forward to chatting with you all, and have already found a huge wealth of helpful points here.
