I am about a month or so away from launching a niche dating site.

For the time being -- while the site is under development -- I have it hosted on a VPS. Once I am ready to go live I will switch over to a dedicated server.

My initial problem is I am not sure what type of server I will need to handle the anticipated traffic.

There are a lot of options out there.

Suppose I had 100 users online ... or 500 users ... or 1000 users ...?

Any thoughts or advice on how I might anticipate my future requirements?
