Math can be very enjoyable, particularly physics, as it can help you make sense of life if you apply it in the right way. From Newton's laws of Motion, to the equations for Potential and Kinetic energy, you can use it all to help you understand life.
Let's start with the concepts of Potential and Kinetic Energy.
Potential Energy = stored energy. If you pick up a rock and hold it out in front of you, that rock has potential energy.
Kinetic Energy = energy of motion. If you drop that rock, it now has kinetic energy and is moving through space and time.
So how does this apply to us and our journey towards riches?
One way of looking at success through physics is as follows:
Let's suppose you have a goal of taking your idea from concept to product. In the course of this endeavour, you will either possess potential energy or kinetic energy.
When you are thinking, obsessing over the idea and planning, you are an object that has potential energy. You have no motion and are not actually moving any closer to your goal through space and time. You may be refining your mind and learning, but the effect of your cause (Newtons third law) is refinement of the vehicle (you), not actual distance travelled through space and time towards your goal in the real world. It is like deciding to drive to somewhere, but spending your time underneath the car and refining everything - it will help you, but it will not actually get you any closer to where you are driving.
If you are taking action, making phone calls, talking with people, improving the product and doing things that are putting you in motion, you now have kinetic energy and will be moving through space and time towards your goal. Your cause is action and the effect is actual progress. Distance is being travelled now because you are actually in motion.
I am not saying that tasks which have potential energy are detrimental to your progress and that you should only do things that create kinetic energy, they both go together and you need to do both. But your focus should be on doing things that create kinetic energy, put you in motion, and cause you to actually move closer to your goal. Spend less time thinking and refining, and more time taking actions that cause effects in the real world.
This is one way of looking at the world through physics and it is quite enjoyable if you can start to see it. It does help put things into perspective when working towards whatever it is you wish to achieve. After all, your mind is the key and you need to work on it. Take two healthy humans of the same gender and age for example, one a garbage man and another a successful investor, there is no physical difference between the garbage man and the investor, the difference is in the mind - how they think and their understanding of life.
