I used to do hours of homework and studying on the daily, until I realized how pointless it was. I still need to well in school for my parents, but here's the thing:
I spend almost ZERO time at home doing school related work. How do I do that?
You have to realize you can get WAY more productivity out of your time. That applies to everything, but here are some tricks on being more productive at school and freeing your time:
1. Do all homework and studying at school. Whenever you have some free time at school, use it.
2. Do work while your teachers are talking. Bring your homework from other classes. Go ahead of the teacher if you can.
3. Do as little as possible, but just enough for a good grade. Teachers don't check all homework, so take that into account.
4. Use your phone. You can use it to study, research, turn things in, write papers, and even find answer keys.
5. Don't study if it isn't necessary. You'll be surprised when you ace a test without even studying. It's not that hard.
6. Prioritize the work you need to do.
7. Outsource your papers, but only if it's really worth it.
Eventually, you get to the point where you have no work to do. That's when I cross over into the real productivity. I like to read a good thread, maybe a book. The good thing about a thread is that you won't need to change your focus too much. Podcasts are good too.
So if you're a student, I hope this helps!
