Aspiring Entrepreneur with goals and ideas says Hello!

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, yes i just joined today and well i just wanted to express my ideas and what im trying to accomplish with my life as a person and human being. I graduated last December, so yeah i just got out of high school. Since i was about 15 i always heard my mom or my dad talking about money issues, how we needed not to spend because we were on "hard times". Now before we continue i just want to clarify that I'm not poor, no, i live in a relatively wealthy part of my country, however that was all thanks to my brilliant mom and hard working dad, that, with moving investments and getting some loans here and there we were able to move from a far part of the city, to one of the most wealthy areas of Panama, we moved because my mom couldn't stand living so far from work and the traffic was horrible for her, she sometimes came crying to the house because she hated living there. Yeah i live here in Panama, no not in Florida, but the one in Central America.

What am i trying to accomplish here? Nothing really, i just wanted to type this and maybe get some feedback but mostly, i wanted to express my thoughts and feelings, i know this is a forum of money but i will get there in a sec. So back to my young age with money problems, to be honest, i cant complain, i always, well , most of the time, always had whatever i wanted. So i dont blame my parents for my burning desire of being a millionaire. So why am i here? I want to learn. Not trying to make money off this site, but to learn. So, starting from last year when i was senior, i decided i would be a millionaire, i don't know how but i will be, i told my mom i would be a millionaire and that i could buy her a nice house in the country and i would like to buy my dad a nice boat.

So, yeah so far we have only dreams, now the problem with dreams, is that they are just that, dreams. I figured, everyone has dreams, but not everyone has the patience or the motivation to make them real. Now, im not delusional and trying to being a millionaire by just wishing and dreaming of being one. I have a plan.

Now, whats the plan? At first, it was confusing trying to figure out what would i do to be a millionaire, would i pray and win the lottery? or maybe just marry a rich girl with rich parents, even if i don't like her. No, those are fake plans that never work, and even if they do if you are not prepared you will just be right where you started.

So the first step on my plan is to Learn, why learn? Well because if you figured it out, im right now 18, that means im young and have little to no money and also little to no experience, yes i could focus on starting a business but i figured it would be smarter to learn everything i can until i graduated from college and then apply those skills on real life. Now the second step once i get out of college is, look for a mentor. Ok so why a mentor, why someone that has more money than you? Well because that, he has more money and more experience and by just being around him you absorb his experiences and he can teach you certain things that will save you a lot of time and money. And my final step would be executing. Once i have my plan ready i will begin to execute it. Now of course this all sounds neat and perfect, but i know i will fail and maybe i will need to rethink my strategy but for now, its good to have a base to start. And that's also the beauty of it, once you fail theres no other option, the only option left is to succeed! It only takes the right mentality and preparation to be a millionaire. (Of course im not one or claim to be, but well i just read alot or try to 😀 )
