Next December/January, the IIHF World Juniors Hockey Championship is going to be held in Buffalo, NY.
I live close enough, that I will be going with a friend or two.
I want to go for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, silver, and gold medal games (over 4-5 days).
Would anyone from the fastlane that lives around there be interested in going to one or even a few of the games? (They will be held at the HSBC Arena, where the Sabres play)
The tournament is one year away, but the reason I need to ask now is because the tickets will be sold out soon enough. (The one is Saskatoon this year sold out 3 months before the actual tournament)
Right now, only ticket packages (17 games or 31 games) are being sold.
However, when the individual tickets are being sold, we have to act fast to secure seats.
The dates are from January 2nd-6th 2011
I know this is REALLY far away, but once you purchase your ticket(s) you can always sell them if you can't go. (Tickets are fairly cheap compared to Sabres games)
The USA is one of the biggest contenders for gold, so I think it would be awesome to meet up with some fastlane members in Buffalo to have a good time.
