If this turns out to exist my face is going to be so red because I've googled this repeatedly, and asked every bank I could if they have it to no avail.
If this doesn't exist, I HIGHLY suggest this thread be moved to the Idea's section for someone to think about executing on. If I wasn't on this project... I would probably be going after this haha.
I need an automated ACH platform for receiving payments into a bank account. Included with each ACH is an invoice number that I supply to my customers... sooo... thinking like a programmer...
Anyone know of a bank that will allow me to provide a callback page with parameters for when an ACH (or any payment) is received into a bank account? The event of receiving a payment would provide a function call with parameters such as comments, amount, date/time, stuff like that, that could be forwarded to a script on your server to perform actions with. It's pretty much exactly what the Paypal API provides but within an unexpected time span and unexpected events.
Right now, I'm having to create a separate web interface for my accountant to log into to actually apply payments to invoices that are received. Since I'm an advertising company, this means there is a delay during the manual processing of information, it also means I am dependent upon these manual processes, which I hate.
So, anyone know of this existing service? If not... dude business need identified.
