It has been at least 5 weeks since my first post. MJ sent me a reminder email to keep me motivated. Thanks for that, cause it is all I needed to write something! I assume that most people get the same email if they have not been active on the forum. I think that is a brilliant way to push you along and stay on course. It kind of holds you personally accountable to "shit or get off the pot" mantra.
So I do not have to much to report on my progress to getting on the fastlane. It is pretty much Slow lane until I retire from the Military in about two years. My current duty/job keeps me gainfully employed 12-15 hours a day and that doesn't include all the middle of the night calls to solve problems. I am not complaining, just stating that I do not have much free time to get what i need to accomplish quickly.
The positive is that I will be changing Jobs for my last 18 months in the service and will have time to get things rolling along. I am currently focused on inventions and the manufacturing of them. I am within a couple months of partnering up with someone and starting a Delaware LLC. We are looking into some patent searches to make sure that it has not been created yet. If it has we have about 20 other "need" items that can be made.
I am currently 1/3 the through Unscripted . So far it is F'ing awesome and so true. I have had a couple "FTE's" in the past two years. I am not looking back, just looking forward. I keep getting job offers that pay at least 100k and I kindly tell them thanks but no thanks. I cannot see starting my next life after 26 years in the military with something that is just a scripted. Nope not happening.
I love reading everyone's posts about failure and what not to do. I learn more from that than how to do something. I am a firm believer in Fail Fast so you do not waste precious resources and time. It also drives innovative solutions to your problem.
