hey guys,
first post here, I'm a developer entrepreneur So, from what I read here and my experience with entrepreneurs, I wanted to chime in and give my advice about how to deal with developers if you're an entrepreneur. Are you guys interested in this?
One thing is, when you are an entrepreneur, how to write emails that get you noticed by good developers. It turns out some emails really turn some developers off.
I'm a web developer so I'm often on the receiving end of these emails, and I wish more entrepreneurs would know how to get the attention of developers, because most often than not, the emails we receive scream "I'm a bad client!".
So, how can you write an email that gets noticed?
feedback welcome !

So, how can you write an email that gets noticed?
- don't write a full spec by yourself expecting a developer to give you a quote on that
- show that you've done your homework (mockups, user stories). If you need help with creating requirements that's fine too but be upfront about it.
- start off the relationship based on trust. A good freelancer will be able to help you get a project done above your expectations if you let him give his input on how things could be done.
- don't look for the cheapest bidder, if you want your idea to be built and actually be useful to your users/customers
feedback welcome !
