I have never been too good at viral marketing, while some others are excellent. Must there be a face to viral marketing (yourself) ? I find it easier to be viral with fun products but with more serious product or service it can be tough. When you are just starting out and do not have any credibility it also makes it tough ( Ex: 20,000 members, 20,000 products sold).
This question is pertaining to websites, can anyone with good experience throw out some ideas to being successful with viral marketing?
Many people use facebook and twitter to help promote businesses, but to me it seems there can be more problems than positive as far as bad hype, things of that sort.
