I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this, so if not, please move it to it's home. Also, I'd imagine someone may have posted this in the past... but regardless, I'd petition to get it stickied in some format because of it's importance.
I wanted to share a site with you all that is absolutely priceless, no joke. I am in no way affiliated with the site, and have absolutely nothing to gain from posting this. It's a forum like FTM, so there's nothing to pay for either.

If any of you are familiar with this place I'm sure you'll agree with me 100% that it's a gold mine. Regardless of your credit score, good or terrible, there is information there that will help you improve it by yourself. There's thousands of people there that boosted their credit (FICO) by 150+ points or more within weeks of finding the place.
Here's my personal story to prove it. After 3 days of being on the site and posing questions about a few of my negative tradelines/collections, I was contacted by a long time member of the forum. He knew the main lawyer that handled all the accounts of a major collection agency that was after me for a debt. We ended up talking on the phone several times and when all was said and done, not only did I settle the debt for WAY WAY under what I expected, but he got me a PFD (Pay-for-deletion), which means the debt is completely erased from all 3 credit reports like it never happened. I tried to negotiate this myself previously and failed miserably. I attempted to thank him with some $$, but he wouldn't accept it. He wouldn't even accept a gift basket from me.
Anyway, I'm still hard at work.. aiming for that magical 750 - 800 score, and it's in my sights. It's truly amazing what you can do for your credit all by yourself if you're armed with the right knowledge and understanding of laws. DO NOT EVER pay anyone to help you fix your credit, ever... Not only do you not need to, but you'll usually end up worse off for it.
Do yourself a favor and check it out. Even if your score is already shiny and good, it will get better if you spend time there reading. Hope this helps some of you.
So, there's my 2-cents for the day. Gotta get the rest of our stuff packed for our move to Austin, TX in 4 days. I'll post my epic failure story soon... I think I'm on page 30 of it *sarcasm*, no, but it's way longer than I expected.
