You can call me Disciple. I come from the Eastern coast of the United States. I found out about this place from a blog who routinely mentions this forum as a place people should be looking into. More specifically, he mentioned publishing and one link led to a few others, and here I am.
I haven't read the book. I am working on a few of the free chapters, however.
My plan is simple. I have long desired to be a writer. Unlike many other writers who start out, I have zero expenses and nearly 12 hours of what used to be "free time." What I used to see as a downside, I am planning on turning into an advantage. The process is not yet set in stone, but after having read a few of the threads (and a plan to read through a couple more), I have a pretty good idea of where to start, and I'll tinker from there as experience dictates.
My current goals include getting to a point where I can support myself financially. This would include moving out on my own. After this goal has been achieved, I will continue to improve my writing, but will utilize my newly acquired financial freedom to invest into my health.
I think that just about covers everything.
