How is your etiquette when asking someone to review your book? The things I've noticed, that irritate me.

1. You assume the person will give you a review and leave a link in their messaging. No Hello. No conversation.

The person doesn't know you at all. They've never had a conversation with you. And they do expect you to give them a five star review.

2. The person demands or commands you to give them a review on their time frame, because they have a goal of getting twenty random reviews.

3. If not reviewed on their time frame, Please review my book A.S.A.P.

4. If you review one book they assume you want to review ten of their books.

5. They expect you to review your book, without taking time to review your book and give honest reviews.

6. People assume that you will take time to review their book, and get no thank you in return.

In my opinion, no one has to give you a review or take time out of their day to read your book and give you a review just because you feel they should.

Be polite. And the philosophy: If you take something, give something back in return.
