• To encourage myself to read more
• To review the books I've read so that the person reading this thread right now can get an opinion on each book, and maybe save them some time if the book was for crap.

Book: Mere Christianity
Author: C.S. Lewis

Great book. It's a "must read" if you are Christian. Lewis offers a fantastic insight into very basic points of the Christian faith (hence the "Mere" in the title) such as Natural Law, the principle of why we believe in Christ, and a straightforward understanding of the different virtues and vices. He drops some truth bombs that I'm sure modern day Christians would find shocking, but are, in reality, fundamental Christian teaching.

Book: Million Dollar Weekend
Author: Noah Kagan

This is a pretty solid book for entrepreneurs. It's not entirely comprehensive as M.J.'s books, but I still think it packs a lot of good information into such a short volume.
I think my favorite part of the book was his mention of the Law of 100. The gist of it is to do something 100 times before quitting to determine if you should continue. Don't stop once you hit "the desert of desertion", but keep going until you've done it 100 times. If after 100 times you honestly think you should stop, then stop, but don't quit beforehand.
A solid little book for every entrepreneur. Since it's so short, there's not much of an excuse for every entrepreneur to give it a read.

Book: Speechless
Author: Michael Knowles

Michael Knowles has written one of the best books on the understanding of the First Amendment and how left-wing radicals have used speech and language to entirely upend our society. Knowles primarily scolds conservatives for their utter failure to condemn the left's usage of political correctness and instead submit to it or call for the "cancelling of cancel-culture" and praise "free speech" without understanding what it actually means.
Knowles states the incredibly "politically incorrect" phrase that our society ought to have standards, and that those standards ought to provide it's citizens with the ability to flourish. Our current liberal, decadent society does indeed have standards, but those standards promote obscenity, destroy any semblance of an ordinary society, and establish secularism and liberalism as the predominant religion(s). American culture and society was built on Christian values, and promoted a civilization in which virtue was good and vice was wicked. Now, we celebrate "pride" throughout the liberal calendar (see Pride Month, Trans Week of Visibility, and other PC claptrap), and we have active politicians who are openly socialist and communist - forms of government that are notoriously envious. Knowles goes into the ways in which the radical leftist celebrate the other Deadly Sins, but I want to keep this review concise.
If you're a conservative, libertarian, or even a liberal, this book will give insight into the ways in which the left has turned our society inside-out. Definitely a 5/5, no question.
